Ethan Vurdien Birthday Party -
Birthday party

Apologies if this is a repeat as not sure if previous was submitted correctly.
Milo attended on time and did a great job entertaining the kids for 2+ hours. He laid the ground rules at the start to ensure safety and to avoid equipment being lost next door! The group was mostly 9 year old boys and there were a lot of other distractions in the garden eg. Trampoline, football posts, playhouse, swing etc but Milo managed to cope with these - it also allowed for some kids to have more individual attention at times. On the day, there was a high pollen count and I suspect his red nose may have been due to hay fever!? but he was very enthusiastic throughout despite this! Many thanks Milo - Ethan very much enjoyed his birthday party.- Anthony Vurdien, Father

We have booked Steve at Shooting Stars Circus Skills for quite a few years and each time the Beaver Scouts have absolutely loved the evening and have come away feeling they have learnt and improved. They particularly loved it when Steve showed off his trick of balancing a uni-cycle on his chin!- Galia Beech, Beaver Scout Leader

Circus Science Show & Workshops

Our presenter, Leanne and her alternative persona Professor Collywobble was an instant hit with the pupils. Her show included elements which appealed to everyone from Reception class to Year 6. Science concepts were introduced, explained and reinforced in interesting and memorable ways. The content for the workshops was age appropriate and the activities adapted so pupils of all ages and abilities left having learned new skills and lots of science!- Joy Stone, Prep Science Coordinator

Jeb came along to our Brownie pack, all of the girls had a really fantastic time and learnt lots of new skills. We asked the parents along at the end of the meeting to see the skills the girls had mastered, Jeb also showed them some of his performing talents. Everyone agreed the evening had been a great success. Thank you Jeb.- Jenny, Brownie Helper

Hi Steve
Just wanted to say that Jebb was fantastic! He was so good with the kids, and they absolutely loved him. They want him to come every time – and we do too! Our group sometimes don’t engage well with visitors – they are very critical and hard to please, but Jebb had no problems and they all engaged really nicely. The workshop was fantastic they all got the chance to try different things and then they were given freetime to concentrate on whichever particular skill they wanted to practise. Jebb made sure that they all had help if they needed it and he made sure that they were pointed out when they achieved something and he let them do a showcase at the end.
We have had many visitors to the group doing various things and I can honestly say that he has been the most natural with the kids out of all of them. His passion for what he does was infectious and he made them all love it too.
Thanks so much and we will definitely want to see Jebb again. Is it too early to book Jebb for the Family BBQ next year? It will be on Saturday 9th June – in the afternoon, but I would have to confirm the times later, early next year.
Thanks also for being understanding about the payment.
Regards
Julie
