Family Events:
Circus Skills Workshops are great for all the family, whether you are 2 yrs or 82 yrs old, there is always something we can teach you.
Whether your event is a birthday party, anniversary, fete, bar mitzvah, picnic, wedding, we have even attended christenings. These events are normally a drop-in workshop where we put all the equipment into a space and everyone can dip in and out and stay as long as they like. Our instructor/s are there to help and teach and encourage either individuals or in groups.
The workshop consists of a circus instructor and circus equipment (which is tailored according to age groups, space available and length of session time). Examples include juggling balls, rings and scarves, spinning plates, diabolos, flower sticks, and larger equipment such as stilts, fun wheels, pedal racers, unicycles & mini-bikes. Equipment used will be at the discretion of your instructor.
What our Family Event customers say about us:
Chris,
Entertainments Manager
Absolutely superb. If I am ever in a position to book entertainers for an event for which Circus Skills are appropriate you will be the first call.\n
Martin,
Events Officer
Thank-you for attending Countryside Day. I have only positive comments which are hopefully reflected in this feedback - I do however have to raise 2 points:
Unfortunately, one of your instructors was fairly short with a member of our staff, insisting he and the team should have a packed lunch. To my knowledge, this has never been supplied, despite this individuals insistence that they WERE given packed lunches last year. The rate we pay for the performances alone make it impossible for us to also feed your staff, and it seems that last year, it MAY have been Sparsholt staff lunches that your team received, when our staff at the information tent were pressed. Additionally, this same person told us that youd only been booked until 16:00, and thus had starting packing up before the event had finished 17:00. When I asked them to please stay until 17:00, they werent very happy about it! From our side, we just have an obligation to people who have paid to visit the event - no matter how quiet an area may have become - to ensure they can enjoy until the end, everything theyve paid to see and take part in.
These two issues/moments were a real shame, as Circus Skills were once again an absolute hit! For this, I thank-you - and assuming these two issues can be resolved, I feel confident we would have you back next year although its not my call, as I wont be in post!... Take care, Sparsholt Events
