I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the Family Circus Skills sessions we ran last week. Both sessions were pretty much fully booked and the trainer was fantastic.\nSome quotes from parents:\n\"We loved the whole session from beginning to end!\"\n\"We enjoyed all of it! The children were interested all the way through. I enjoyed being involved with the kids as they learnt new skills.\"\n\"The instructor was polite and patient and the children listened and learnt. Excellent session!\"\nPlease pass on a massive thank you to Nick. He was very professional but the most striking thing was just how much he seemed to enjoy his job. I think it was this that captured the attention of the kids and parents and encouraged them to keep going even when they found things tricky..

The instructor was funny and did lots of tricks for us as well as teaching us a few. He even balanced a chair on his nose! We also got to use all the equipment whaich was great fun.

I really enjoyed circus skills, particually doing the balancing competition when I won a peacock feather. I learnt how to juggle and balance really well, the teacher was very enjoyable and funny 10/10

This was a fantastic day, all our pupils were able to have a go.
The children developed a range of skills in a very short time, I was particularly impressed by the way in which it developed their listening skjills and the ability to follow instructions.
The hall was filled with laughter and I was worried a little at the end that some of our most inspired performers might even try to run away with the circus!

Very soon we will have to start a school circus! The children are reaching such a high standard they could join a circus. Every year the children look forward to the circus skills workshops. Our family learning day means the parents get to have a go too. Without Shooting Stars we would never have had so many dads coming to join in the family learning day. See you next year..

Dear Steve and Jackie
Just wanted to drop you a note to say a big Thank You to both of you for your support and assistance at our Family Learning Day here at Ravenor Primary as well as throughout the week

From the initial feedback that we gathered on the day, it looks like adults and children both really enjoyed the event - just for information, we had nearly 160 people attend the event, most of whom I think were in your workshops!
Thanks again for all your help and participation.
Kind regards
Harwinder

Very good instructor who was polite, helpful and punctual. He was very good with the children and patient in helping them and I think they all had a fun evening. However they were very noisy. I feel demos should have been done before giving the children the equipment. Once they had equipment they wanted to play with it rather than listen to what to do with it. Only 1 instructor - we had 2 last time which I think you need for this age group 7-10. As a leader I dont feel this ran as smoothly as last year- it felt like chaos at times. Would possibly book again although I do feel it was expensive for just 2 hours. .
